On Saturday March 30, 2013 the New Bremen American Legion hosted it’s annual MAC Wingfest. Bars and Restaurants totaling in 10 different establishments across the MAC Conference brought their best Chicken Wings to the event. Winner’s Meats handed out 900 of our Award Winning Grilled Chicken Wings.

After 3 hours of the competition and the votes were tallied. Winner’s Meats took home the Specialty Wing Champion Trophy for the second year in a row! The event was a great turnout and a huge success. These Award Winning Chicken Wings can be purchased at our Osgood Grocery Store.

The 2013 Ohio Association of Meat Processors Convention was held in Columbus, OH to recognize the top products in the state this year. Establishments from all over the state of Ohio were in attendance.

Robert Winner Sons, Inc. came home with 2 Reserve Champion Ribbons. The first category was Summer Sausage which Winner’s received a red ribbon for our regular Summer Sausage. The second category that Winner’s received Reserve Champ was Snack Sticks, for our delicious Beef Smokey Sticks.

Robert Winner Sons Inc. brings home another Grand Champion Blue Riboon from 2012 OAMP Convention!

Winner’s Meats located in Osgood and Greenville, Ohio won Grand Champion for their homemade Summer Sausage entered in the 2012 Ohio Association of Meat Processors Products competition.

There were 142 individual products anonymously submitted by Meat Processors from all over the state of Ohio.  They were then scored by a panel of 7 different judges including an Ohio State University meat scientist, industry representatives, and other specialists from the meat industry. Judges scrutinized the products by appearance, aroma, texture, and of course, taste.

Winners Meat Farm  was voted the number #1 Butcher Shop in Darke County from the Darke County Advocates reader’s for the second year in a row!

Every year the Greenville Advocate newspaper sponsors a publication of asking it’s readers to vote on their favorite businesses to shop in Darke County.

Robert Winner Sons Inc. wins THREE awards in this years product competition held by the OAMP in Columbus, Ohio!

Winners Meats located in Osgood and Greenville Ohio, brought home a total of Three Awards for their homemade products submitted in the OAMP products competition! Grand Champion awards with their Blue Ribbon Bologna and Pork and Beef Loaf. And a Reserve Champion with their Winner’s Wieners!

A total of 118 Homemade Products were anonymously submitted by 34 different meat processors from all over the state of Ohio. They were then judged by a panel of judges including OSU meat scientist, industry representatives, and other specialist from the meat industry. Judges scrutinized the products by appearance, aroma, texture, and of course taste.

Winner’s Meats wins People’s Choice Award at MAC Wingfest!

Close to 50 Wing makers from all around the MAC competed on Saturday, April 4th at the American Legion in New Bremen to see who has the Best Wings in the MAC! Winners for the Top four spots were determined by a panel of Celebrity Judges ranking the wings on a five-tiered criteria, wing presentation, sauce consistency, sauce flavor, meat tendernous and of course meat flavor. The “People’s Choice Award” was voted by all those attending the event.

It’s not all about winning or losing but just having fun and enjoying the great camaraderie said one wing contestant about this great event! It’s a great fundraiser that will benifit a wide array of local charities.

Winners Meatslocated in Osgood and Greenville Ohio, brought home a total of  Four Awards for their homemade products submitted in the OAMP products competition!  They won First place awards with their Smoked Bacon and Ham Loaf.  A Reserve Champion with their Summer Sausage, and also taking a Grand Championaward with their very popular Winner’s Wieners!

There were more than 120 different “Homemade Products” that were anonymously submitted by meat processors from all over the state of Ohio and are judged by a panel of judges including meat scientist and other specialist from the meat industry. Judges scrutinize products by appearance, aroma, texture, and of course taste.

Robert Winner Sons Inc. or better known as Winner’s Meats, an area processor located in both Osgood and Greenville Ohio. On July 18, 2009, they were again fortunate of winning “National Recognition” at the National Cured Meat Convention, held in Omaha, Nebraska this year.

This year, Robert Winner Sons Inc. was awarded “Reserve Grand Champion” in the Large Diameter Class with their Blue Ribbon Bolgna. All entries are judged on the basis of aroma, flavor, eye appeal, color, and texture. The panel of judges for this year’s event included Professors, Technical Advisers, and Directors of Science and Technology from an assortment of Universities from all over the country, along with several other management officials from large meat packing companies.

The American Cured Meat Championship is held yearly and draws hundreds of entries from meat processors from the entire United States. During the three day event processors have a chance to.meet with other meat processors to discuss new techniques to enhance their products as well as listening to speakers talking about the newest innovations available to the meat industry. This year alone there were over 575 entries in 23 different categories. Last year, the convention was held in Cincinatti, Ohio and Winner’s brought home another award with their Winners Wieners. This product has won many Grand Champion awards at the Ohio Association of Meat Processors Convention which is held in Columbus, Ohio yearly.

Winner’s Meats has produced many homemade products receiving many awards at the state level of competition. They are so pleased to receive such an award at this National Level. They are very well known for their quality beef and pork raised on Winner’s own farms along with their signature homemade products including their famous Marinated Pork Chops and Chicken Breast. They sell freezer beef and pork and also perform custom slaughtering and processing for area farmers.

Winners are members of the Ohio Association of Meat Processors, as well as, the American Association of Meat Processors, the nation’s largest trade organization representing well over 1500 businesses in the meat/food industry.
